From the depth of the soil to the light of the glasses,
The soil, subsoil, exposure, and the influence of a particular year weave the fabric of our terroirs. Each element imparts to our grapes a unique aromatic signature, specific to each plot.
We love to let this richness of nuance fully express itself in our vats, before selecting those that will embody our cuvées: Champagnes of soul and character, sincere and refined, that tell the story of the land from which they come.
A rare correspondence between terroir and mechanics,
Each cuvée has its own temperament, its whims, and can be described with the same words one might use for a vintage car: dynamism, balance, suppleness, power, vivacity, and length.
This is the analogy I wished to share: pairing the character of a grape, expressed through the prism of its terroir, with that of a car with which it shares these qualities.
The choice of automobiles could easily have turned toward exceptional models, celebrated for their prestige and marketing allure. Yet I chose instead those I know intimately — the ones I have the pleasure of driving. These machines, whose sensations echo those of a fine tasting, convey an authentic emotion — one I wish to share with you in turn, perhaps as you take the wheel of your own.
My wines are meant to be an invitation, a pretext for a journey.
